Céad Míle Fáilte
"One Hundred Thousand Welcomes" to all our members friends and visitors from the Irish American Society of Richmond.
The Irish American Society of Greater Richmond membership is open to native Irish, Irish-Americans and those with an interest in all things Irish.
Membership meetings are scheduled monthly and are held at the Dumbarton Library on Staples Mill Road, the Tuckahoe Library off Parham Road, the Boulevard United Methodist Church and other various locations. Dates and locations of the meetings are listed in the newsletter and posted in the IAS calendar and Up Coming Events on this site.
Meeting programs focus on Irish culture and heritage. They have included such topics as: Irish step dancing, sports, genealogy, music, authors, poetry, archeology, Irish/Celtic festivals and photo documentaries of Irish gardens.
We hope that both new and current members will find this site a valuable tool for learning about our group and keeping up with the ongoing events, as well as exploring their Irish heritage. And, we also hope that others who visit this site will consider joining our organization. Please click here for a message from our President.
